New JIP33 specification published: S-620 HV Switchgear and Controlgear (IEC)
JIP33 has published the S-620 HV Switchgear and Controlgear IEC) specification.
The purpose of this specification is to define a minimum common set of requirements for the procurement of high-voltage switchgear and controlgear in accordance with IEC 62271-200, Edition 3.0, May 2021 for application in the petroleum and natural gas industries.
About JIP33
The International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) started Joint Industry Programme (JIP)33 in 2016. Its aim is to develop standardized specifications that enable the industry supply chain to become better, cheaper and faster.
More than 55 specifications have been published to date and are already delivering benefits for users worldwide, with another 8 specifications currently in development.
