New JIP33 specification published: S-563 Material Data Sheets For Piping And Valve Components
JIP33 has published the S-563 Material Data Sheets for Piping and Valve Components – version 3.0 specification.
The purpose of this specification is to define a minimum common set of requirements for the specification for procurement of the most commonly used materials and to facilitate the manufacture of stock products to reduce cost and increase availability, for application in the petroleum and natural gas industries.
About JIP33
The International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) started Joint Industry Programme (JIP)33 in 2016. Its aim is to develop standardized specifications that enable the industry supply chain to become better, cheaper and faster.
More than 47 specifications have now been published to date and are already delivering benefits for users worldwide, with another 15 specifications currently in development.
