New JIP33 specification published: High-voltage AC Drive Systems
JIP33 has published the S-747 High-voltage AC Drive Systems specification.
The purpose of this specification is to define a minimum common set of requirements for the procurement of high-voltage AC drive systems in accordance with IEC 61800-2, Edition 3.0, March 2021, Adjustable speed electrical power drive systems – Part 2: General requirements – Rating specifications for adjustable speed AC power drive systems, for application in the petroleum and natural gas industries.
About JIP33
The International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) started Joint Industry Programme (JIP)33 in 2016. Its aim is to develop standardized specifications that enable the industry supply chain to become better, cheaper and faster.
More than 50 specifications have now been published to date and are already delivering benefits for users worldwide, with another 9 in development (including scope expansion) and 10 in maintenance.
