New JIP33 specification published: S-561 Subsea Trees (API)
JIP33 has published the S-561 Subsea Trees (API) specification.
The purpose of the IOGP S-561 specification documents is to define a minimum common set of requirements for the procurement of subsea trees in accordance with API Specification 17D, Third Edition, October 2021, Specification for Subsea Wellhead and Tree Equipment, for application in the petroleum and natural gas industries.
About JIP33
The International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) started Joint Industry Programme (JIP)33 in 2016. Its aim is to develop standardized specifications that enable the industry supply chain to become better, cheaper and faster.
More than 55 specifications have been published to date and are already delivering benefits for users worldwide, with another 8 specifications currently in development.
